A Little Vacation

Our great friends, Evan and Kelly Hoyt, recently invited us to vacation with them at our pastor’s cottage on the lake.  Of course we couldn’t pass it up. It was wonderful! It was barely a cottage, more like a retreat center! It was so beautiful. We were on Lake Tippecanoe out near Warsaw, Indiana. We rode waverunners, played on “the Blob”, and hung out by the firepit. We really love spending time with the Hoyt’s. They really take good care of us and are such servants. This one-night vacation was a fun and relaxing blessing for us.

Fourth of July

Mitch and I traveled down to southern Indiana to spend some time with the Toler extended family.  It was a great time. We ate sooo much!  Betty, Mitch’s grandma, makes a-maz-ing food. It was quite a change in tradition for me, I am used to going with my family to the golf course and watching fireworks from far away. But the Tolers go out and buy their own fireworks and set them off throughout the evening.  It was a lot of fun taking pictures and playing around with Mitch’s sisters. I know Mitch was really glad to spend time with his dad and grandparents. I love this family!
